Well that would be what they call a traditional "Happy ending" seeing as his particular stance on things.

I doubt anyone other then Hoshi would truly regret it if he died...no offense.

You know...I'm a hero and even I still can't understand her need to save him. She's got more faith in the idea that there's good in him then I could ever have about someone who's tried to kill me as often as he has her.
